A double sided step ladder is manufactured using two identical ladder sections so the user can climb on either sides of the ladder.  The benefit of using a doule sided step ladder from a single sided step ladder is the ladder is more stable and stronger.

 

Aluminium double sided step ladders are much lighter, more durable and easy to maintain than the fibreglass ones. However, if there is electrical hazard with your work, you must use the fibreglass double sided step ladders.
